Buttforde, St. Marien

Buttforde, St. Marien, Orgel von Joachim Richborn 1681

Joachim Richborn 1681

State of preservation:
Majority original. 1803 removal of wings; 1949 renewal of „Trompete“ and Pedal keyboard

This instrument is a typical small village organ in the "Hamburg" tradition. The specification with only one manual and coupled pedal only permitted playing easier works which did not require contrasting chóices of stops on two manuals but the wide range of available stops would have been sufficient for pre- and postludes and accompanying chorales.
