State of preservation: Extant by Riepp: flue stops of Positif and Grand Orgue; the reeds by François Callinet 1787. Pédale, Récit and Ècho were modified and enlarged from 1830 to 1854 by Joseph and Xavier Stiehr.
Récit and Écho, in the18. Jahrhunderts nothing else but Cornet divisions with varied (and, within limits, variable) composition, have been enriched by the romanticisation of the Stiehr brothers with specific sound colours of the 19th century (Cor anglais, Clarinette, in P: Contrebasse, Violoncelle, Gambe) but also lost their specific character. The specifications of the Dijon and Dole organs were more or less identical in the beginning but differ a lot today since both instruments have been modernised in quite different ways.
