Augustin Simnacher of Tussenhausen-Angelberg is one of the many important organ makers from the Allgäu working within the Alps. His organ for the chapel of castle Grabenstein is a typical example for a single manual instrument for a small church.The instrument is no longer playable. It might offer another rare example of an organ unchanged by posterity as an undistorted monument of the organ makers' art of the 18th century.
