I have been inhaling the scent of the workshop since I was a child.
At the Greifenberger Institute, I completed my training as an organ builder in 2012 and was active in the workshop alongside my father after successfully finishing my education. During those years, three instruments of great importance to me were created: a replica of a South German grand piano after Franz Jakob Spath, a copy of a harpsichord after Christian Vater, and the scientific reconstruction of a bentside spinet after Johann Heinrich Silbermann.
This was followed by a second training as an occupational therapist, which led to a position as a team leader in a charitable organization.
The versatility in craftsmanship and the secrets of old keyboard instruments have lost none of their fascination for me, so in 2024, I returned to the workshop life.
In parallel, I continue to work as an occupational therapist.
